Collecting signatures from our community helps decide what we see on the ballot each year. Ohio is one of the few states left that will allows citizens initiated issues to be placed on the ballot. This process has recently ensured our rights to continue this process fairly, women's health care rights, and will help to end gerrymandering to end corruption this fall.
This is also how we help candidates on the ballot each year. We will reach out to members and the community when we are supporting an issue we would like to see on the ballot or a progressive candidate we want to see in office.

One of the fun things we do as an organization is participate in community events. Many of our members look forward to signing up to chat with everyone. We spend our time helping folks register to vote, answer questions about candidates, and issues on the upcoming ballot.

All of the performances at Veterans Park Amphitheater are free to the community but are funded through donations. Each year members of Women's Issue Network will attend at least one performance to help "Pass The Hat". This tradition happens every evening during intermission. Volunteers will walk through the audience to collect donations to help fund future events.
