We urge you to VOTE YES on the Career Technology Center (CTC/JVS) levy that will provide the dollars needed to build a new enlarged facility that will provide more opportunities for more Clark County students to enroll. The State of Ohio will provide a large percentage of the money for a new facility and November is the last time this critical issue will be on the ballot. This is our third and final chance to help secure future success of our students!

     The Springfield-Clark CTC plays a crucial role in our community by providing students with the skills and education they need to succeed in today’s rapidly changing job market. Whether preparing students for immediate entry into the workforce or laying the foundation for further education, the CTC equips our young people with hands-on experience and real-world knowledge that benefits not only them but also our local economy. This levy is essential to maintaining and improving the quality of education at the CTC. It will provide much-needed funding for updated technology, modern facilities, and expanded program offerings. With these resources, the CTC can continue to offer high-quality, career-focused education that meets the demands of today's industries.

     Supporting this levy is an investment in the future of Clark County. By voting for it, you are helping to ensure that our students have access to the best possible educational opportunities. This, in turn, strengthens our community by fostering a well-prepared workforce that can attract and retain businesses in our area. In a time when many schools face financial challenges, it is more important than ever to stand behind institutions like the Springfield-Clark CTC that make a tangible difference in the lives of our students and the prosperity of our county. The fact that students from the CTC made over $2.2 Million in buying and spending power in our community during the past two years. Your vote in favor of this levy is a vote for the continued success and growth of our community.  

     On a personal note, my nephew graduated this past May in electrical.  He is now part of the electric union and was able to skip one year of the apprenticeship program because of his CTC/JVS education. He was one of the lucky ones. He got to go to CTC his sophomore year and try all the different trades to see what he liked. Over 200 students were turned away this year.  Let’s not let that happen again.  By voting YES for CTC/JVS we are helping every student succeed. CTC provides many local companies with a number of great employees and is critical to their continued success and growth.
