Candidate Profile : Adam Miller

1. Your name as it will appear on the ballot: Adam Miller

2. The office for which you are running: US House of Representatives (OH-15)

3. Why you are running for this office:

I want to ensure women have reproductive freedom and we keep the government out of the doctor’s office and the bedroom.  I will work to ensure all Ohioans benefit from our nation’s economy.  Policies that have gutted our manufacturing base have made some rich, but for millions, it means health care, college for their children, and retirement security are out of reach.  That is why we need leaders and not lobbyists in Congress.

I want our nation to go forward; not backward. I will work to pass bipartisan legislation that ensures funding for social security. I won't let the issue linger.  This is true for the farm bill too.  We have a farm bill, let’s pass it.   Our farmers are not political pawns.

As a member of the Ohio House, I strongly oppose the nefarious Project 2025 that will further erode our institutions and take us back in time where your party determined how the government served you. Every Congressional candidate should join me in opposing this dangerous plan for America.

4. What makes you the best candidate for this office:

I believe in our great, diverse nation. I’ve seen this firsthand as a teacher and as a soldier.  We must stop pitting Americans against each other and work together on what matters like reproductive freedom, better jobs, better healthcare, a secure border, and retirement security.

I have spent my career serving our nation.

I live by the words of my childhood hero John Glenn who would often remind Ohioans that “you are the government.” I want to take his words and values to Washington so we can go forward, not backward.

5. What are your credentials and qualifications for the office you are seeking:

As a former teacher and coach, I believe in America. As an Army Colonel, I know the importance of service.  As a professional advocate for education, I understand the importance of lifting every American rather than pitting us against each other.

6. What are the three most important goals you plan to focus on as you campaign and when you are elected:

Ensure reproductive freedom

Increase investment in mental health recovery and support

Increase worker rights
